Why PETG
PETG (Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol) sits between PLA and ABS in terms of difficulty and properties. Compared to PLA it offers:
• Higher impact resistance — parts flex instead of snapping. • Better temperature resistance (around 70–80°C softening). • Excellent layer adhesion, which means stronger prints. • Good chemical, water and UV resistance.
It's the material we recommend most often for parts that have to actually do something, not just look good.
