TPU Flexible 3D Printing in Barcelona

TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) is a rubber-like flexible filament. The exact softness depends on the shore hardness — we typically work with TPU 95A, which feels close to a hard rubber: flexible enough to bend and stretch, firm enough to keep its shape under load.

Its properties make it perfect for parts that need to absorb impact, conform to shapes or seal against surfaces.

TPU is slower to print than PLA or PETG and requires careful tuning, which makes it slightly more expensive per part. Very thin walls can be too floppy, while very thick walls become too rigid — we'll suggest the wall thickness and infill that gives you the feel you want.

TPU is also resistant to abrasion, oils and many chemicals, which makes it surprisingly durable for a flexible material.
